| GERD Procedure |
The GERD center offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). GERD is very common, but is often ignored or treated without evaluation. It causes esophageal cancer which is the only cancer with an increasing incidence in the United States. The GERD center offers education of lifestyle modification, medication therapy, evaluation for complications and recomendations for structural therapy such as surgery or endoscopic treatment of GERD.
